Sonic the Hedgehog is one of SEGAs most important series, so its not surprising that the company has many projects in development for it, and apparently, we wont have to wait long to know and play the first one.
Several months ago, it came to light that SEGA was working on its own Battle Royale in the style of Fall Guys featuring Sonic. Later, leaked videos even seemed to confirm these rumors. At this point, there is already so much information about the project that apparently, its just a matter of time before SEGA makes the official announcement.

SEGA would soon announce its Battle Royale game featuring Sonic
The informant Midori used her Twitter (X) account to talk about this project again and ensured that its final name wouldnt be Sonic Rumble Party or Sonic Toys Party, but Sonic Rumble, although SEGA would have considered other titles like the former for the project during its development.
According to the details, Sonic Rumble would be developed by SEGAs Division 4 using Rovios Beacon platform and would offer gameplay similar to Fall Guys or Stumble Guys, and like these titles, it would be rich in customization and feature collaborations, including one with Persona.

The informant reminded that Sonic Rumble is scheduled to debut on mobile devices (iOS and Android) in June or July 2024 and anticipated that the official announcement would take place "soon".
In fact, Midori mentioned that SEGA registered domains related to Sonic Rumble on April 18th and they can already be found on the companys official website, although access to them is not yet available.
