The year has just begun, and it has brought several video game announcements and some upcoming releases. A couple of versions of a Latin American indie game have just been added to the list, which will soon be available on all major consoles.
Were talking about PopSlinger, a title developed by the studio Funky Can Creative that blends an anime art style, future funk music, and run n gun gameplay. The title originally debuted on Nintendo Switch in January 2022 and later arrived on PC via Steam. If you havent tried it because you dont play on these platforms, there is good news, as very soon youll be able to do so on PlayStation and Xbox.
When will PopSlinger arrive on PlayStation and Xbox?
Since then, versions for PlayStation and Xbox had not been announced, but after 2 years, they will become a reality thanks to the work of Artax Games, which is handling the ports for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
The project leaders did not provide a release date, but the wait wont be long, as it was announced that both versions will debut early this year.
Thats not all, as to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of PopSlinger, Funky Can Creative announced a collaboration with the Japan-based studio Alunite, which will bring the titles protagonist, Ria, to Night at the Meowseum, a mobile game scheduled for release in winter 2024.
PopSlinger is available on Nintendo Switch and PC, and if you havent played it yet, you wont want to miss this opportunity, as the title is currently available for half the price, but hurry, as the offer will expire in a few hours.
