Microsoft has already confirmed a compelling lineup of games coming to Xbox Game Pass later this year. Recently, a hint suggested that a compelling title from Square Enix was coming to the service as a day 1 release. However, that will not be the case, as Xbox confirmed that Visions of Mana will not be available on its platform.
No, Visions of Mana will not be coming to Xbox Game Pass
Some gamers were excited to see he Visions of Mana page on the official Xbox site, as it indicated that the new installment would be coming directly to Xbox Game Pass during its release. However, things are different and everything was a mistake.
Xbox confirmed that the announcement was not correct and that it was a mix-up. The company pledged to bring compelling content to its service, but stressed that Visions of Mana is not among its plans for now.
"Were aware that Xbox.com included language that indicated Visions of Mana was coming to Xbox Game Pass and can confirm this was an error. While we are always updating the library and looking for new ways to provide members with value and choice, we do not have plans to bring Visions of Mana to Game Pass at this time," said a company spokesperson.
The RPGs arrival in the catalog made a lot of sense for gamers, as Visions of Mana was present at the most recent Developer_Direct. In addition, several Square Enix games have been available on Xbox Game Pass. Unfortunately, this will not apply to the new installment of the franchise.
Visions of Mana does not yet have a confirmed release date, but we do know that it will be coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox X|S Series, Xbox One and PC sometime this summer.
