Microsoft has announced a fresh wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in May 2025, and fans have every reason to be excited. The lineup features one of the best Dragon Ball games to date, a brand-new DOOM title, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles release, and more.
In addition, Microsoft confirmed the departure of five games from the service later this month.

Xbox Game Pass Kicks Off May With Heavy-Hitting Additions
The latest update from Microsoft confirms that Dredge, the beloved indie game, is already available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass starting today. But the real action begins tomorrow.
On May 7, subscribers will get access to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on console, PC, and cloud—a fan-favorite fighting game that serves as a massive tribute to Akira Toriyama’s legendary franchise. This will be followed by several highly anticipated Day One releases.

Fans are particularly hyped for DOOM: The Dark Ages, a brutal new entry from id Software, and TMNT: Mutants Unleashed, which brings everyone’s favorite ninja turtles into a chaotic new adventure.
These Games Will Leave Xbox Game Pass on May 15
While the list of additions is exciting, Microsoft also confirmed that five titles will leave Xbox Game Pass on May 15. Fortunately, rumored departures like Jurassic World Evolution 2, Little Kitty, Big City, and Planet of Lana are not on the list.
