Xbox Game Pass has gone through major changes in recent weeks, and a large part of the community believes it’s lost much of its original appeal. Despite no longer being the fan favorite it once was, Microsoft’s subscription service still tries to maintain an attractive lineup with big titles. Unfortunately, not all news is good.
As always, when new games join, others must leave. This month, subscribers will have to say goodbye to five beloved titles, including an acclaimed strategy experience, a post-apocalyptic FPS, and more.
❌ 5 Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass in November 2025
At the end of October, Jusant, Metal Slug Tactics, and Return to Monkey Island were removed from Xbox Game Pass. Now, Microsoft has revealed the next batch of titles that will leave the service in mid-November.
According to the “Leaving Soon” section of Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, these five games will exit the catalog in the coming days:
- Blacksmith Master (PC)
- Football Manager 2024 (PC and consoles)
- Frostpunk (Windows version)
- Frostpunk: Console Edition
- Spirittea
- S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl
The biggest loss is arguably Frostpunk, the acclaimed survival strategy game from 11 bit Studios, which earned an impressive 84 Metacritic score thanks to its deep resource management systems, tough moral choices, and emergent storytelling.
Another major title leaving soon is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the atmospheric post-apocalyptic FPS from GSC Game World. While it received mixed reviews at launch (Metacritic 73), it remains a standout experience for fans of the genre.
Meanwhile, Football Manager 2024 will also be removed from the rotating catalog on November 15, giving fans limited time to manage their last virtual season.
10 Games Coming to Xbox Game Pass in November 2025
Although some titles are leaving, Microsoft’s service will also expand its library with exciting new additions this month. November looks packed with high-profile releases, including a massive day-one launch.
The star of the month is undoubtedly Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, the next entry in Activision’s blockbuster shooter series. Other notable additions include 1000xResist, Football Manager 26, and Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault.
