If you've surely come across the hashtags: #RIPTwitter, #Twitter2, #TwitterDown, and all kinds of hashtags related to a possible fall in the social network and you're very lost as to why this is happening, don't worry, we'll bring you up to date.

Well, as you may first imagine, a new day, a new problem with Elon Musk and Twitter.

All this is because yesterday, a controversy arose because Elon Musk sent an email to all employees saying that only those who agree to enter a "hardcore" work mode can stay; yesterday was the deadline for response, and very few accepted.

Throughout yesterday, Musk tried to convince many employees who didn’t agree to stay in the company, but he failed. After that, Twitter closed all offices and banned any employees from entering.

The offices closed due to fears of sabotage by employees. "We hear this is because Elon Musk and his team are terrified employees are going to sabotage the company. Also, they're still trying to figure out which Twitter workers they need to cut off access to," said Zoë Schiffer, a journalist from Platformer.

For the same reason, there are rumors that the social network will fall due to a lack of technical support. In addition, some former employees in a video conference with Musk were disconnected at 5 p.m., while he was still talking, as a sign that they did not accept the offer and would prefer to be fired. All this, according to The New York Times.

Elon Musk's idea was not only to propose a change in the way of working on Twitter but also to have employees sign a document that commits them to follow those rules. But Musk, perhaps, should have counted on the fact that many would refuse to sign a contract with unfavorable conditions.

"Elon Musk and his team have a list of Twitter employees who signed the offer saying they want to stay on Twitter 2.0. Those names are on a spreadsheet. Now they're trying to figure out who's NOT on the sheet, who's down for paternity, and who's quitting on Slack..." Zoë Schiffer.

In addition to all the crisis that is taking place on the social network, Elon Musk decided to share tweets making fun of the trending hashtags and post memes to describe the situation:

In addition, a very long tweet was made of all the employees who left Twitter yesterday and made it public, using the same emoji to represent that they worked hard for years and that it was time to retire.

In short, that is what is happening with the social network Elon Musk and the company's now-former employees.
