LOEWE pixelized clothing is an 8-bit dream

It isn’t very common to talk about Fashion Week in this portal, however, this is going to stop us? Of course not. Recently during the Paris Fashion Week, Spanish luxury fashion house LOEWE, presented its Spring/Summer 2023 womenswear collection and let's say that its creative director British designer JW Anderson is going to very interesting places with his ideas.

This collection included three pieces of garments that honestly, seem like it were taken from a 1987 video game or if you prefer a more recent example from Mojang’s Minecraft.

I could use it at the next family reunion…

To be fair, pixel clothing is not uncommon but it is interesting to see this kind of design on a high-end fashion runway. Now, if you were already thinking to use one of these on your next date, let’s see them in detail, the pieces were a hoodie, a dress that looks more like an oversized t-shirt, and a pair of pants that the adjective “baggy” may not seem like much to describe them.

Funnily the LOEWE's show notes described them as "a pixelated glitch” and according to reporters attending the show “the clothing loses its magic when viewed from the side” however in the photos, it looks fantastic In video, even better:

In case you missed it: One Piece collaboration with Vans leaked!

Definitely, JW Anderson keeps proposing interesting pieces with elements and fabrics that are not so often seen on these catwalks, actually, his brand which has the same name is pretty interesting by itself if you have a couple of thousand dollars to spare, you could give them a try. For now, we are going to spend that money on rent.
