A few days after Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin restored online functionality, the team at FromSoftware has one more piece of good news for fans of the series. Although, if you play Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition, you might be disappointed to learn that the company behind the series has decided to terminate its servers forever.

All online features are back

Indeed, the Japanese software house, in collaboration with Bandai Namco, has finally restored the online features of another of the Action RPGs in the series. We are talking about Dark Souls: Remastered, which also returns to enjoy network features on PC. After a long absence of the same, the remastered version of the first Dark Souls can thus return to offer its audience an integral experience on the online and multiplayer front.

Once again, FromSoftware has apologized to the public for the long time it took to restore the PC versions of the Dark Souls series. The restoration process had initially involved only Dark Souls III and then also landed on the aforementioned Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin.

In case you missed it: Death Stranding amassed 10M players in three years.

At the moment, however, issues persist on the base PC version of Dark Souls II, which is still affected by the absence of connectivity, preventing users from enjoying the title's online features.
