The official announcement of Amnesia The Bunker has tickled the fancy of many fans of the horror series. So the guys at Frictional Games decide to resurface on social media to show a new clip and describe the 'open end' gameplay structure of their upcoming subjective horror film.
An interesting take on gameplay
The latest multimedia contribution offered to us by the Swedish software house plunges us back into the nightmarish atmospheres of Amnesia The Bunker to emphasize the 'open end' nature of the work's design, as shown by the guys at Frictional Games themselves in the reveal trailer, the new chapter of Amnesia will offer greater freedom of action and movement.
The semi-open world design should be reflected in an even more tense and compelling gameplay experience, even in the most 'simple' actions to perform, such as opening a door. Our alter-ego, a French soldier from World War I, will have to carve an escape route from a paranormal nightmare that will take the form of the tunnels of a haunted bunker: to succeed, the player will have to interact with the scenery using a whole series of tools to solve environmental puzzles.
In case you missed it: River City Girls 2 officially launches on consoles and PC.
Amnesia The Bunker is scheduled to launch in 2023 on PC PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, landing from day one in the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
