Sci-Fi horror SOMA creators bring a brand-new survival horror title that will be coming on March 2023. Frictional Games, the developers of this game, have also developed the well-known Amnesia saga, making this the fourth one in the collection. The game is titled Amnesia: The Bunker.
Game overview
You'll be in the shoes of Henri Clément, a French soldier left alone in a WW1 bunker facing the fear of the dark and of whatever there is creeping in the shadows with you. This threat will react to every move and sound you make so be thoughtful of your actions if you want to stay alive.
The game claims to have the following features:
- Dynamic and ever-present monster that reacts to player actions.
- Constant tension - Time is not on your side.
- Tactile and physics-based interactions with the world.
- Scavenge for resources and craft tools to aid your survival.
- Multiple solutions to problem-solving in a non-linear open world.
There are many questions for you to find out while exploring this semi-open world like "what has happened to the other soldiers? Where have all the officers gone? What diabolical nightmare lurks underneath this hellscape?"
It seems that no play-through will be the same in this mysterious Bunker and many secrets lie within it. So it might be a good idea to be careful of every step you take, and use all the scavenged resources and tools to make the most of them when unveiling the truths of this place.
