During the last few years, it has been shown that wrestling and video games have a close relationship. In addition to video games based on this show, some wrestlers use their free time to play video games. Some even have Twitch channels where they stream regularly.
One of the professional wrestlers who shows his love for video games the most is Kenny Omega, currently part of the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) roster. He is even one of the managers of the company's first video game for consoles that is currently in development.

Showing his love for this hobby one more time, during his most recent fight in Japan, the Canadian took the opportunity to pay tribute to one of the most famous video game series: Final Fantasy.
Now, that's a show-stealer!
It is not the first time that Omega has done something similar. Along with his great friends, the Young Bucks, he occasionally changes his outfit and music to represent a video games series. However, what he has done now is probably his most spectacular entry.
During the presentation on January 4 at Wrestle Kingdom 17 in Tokyo Dome, the largest wrestling event in Japan and one of the most prestigious internationally ( perhaps only behind WWE's WrestleMania), the fighter surprised the world with an entry 100% in the style of the Square Enix series.

At the event, Omega was scheduled to fight against Will Ospreay for the IIWGP United States Heavyweight Championship in a much-anticipated match. In the end, the clash met the expectations of fans and experts, with Omega becoming the new champion. However, what the world has been talking about the most was his pre-fight entrance.
