Thanks to its fun and original concept, Dead by Daylight has captivated horror fans and established itself as one of the most popular multiplayer offerings on the market. Over the years, it has collaborated with high-profile third-party franchises like Halloween, Scream, Resident Evil, and Chucky. Luckily, a crossover with Five Nights at Freddy’s looks closer than ever.
The franchise created by Scott Cawthon is very popular and has a wide reach, but it rarely crosses paths with other intellectual properties. That could change soon, or at least that's what Behaviour Interactive developers suggest.

Dead by Daylight Could Receive Content from Five Nights at Freddy’s and More Games
Through social media messages and other means, fans have been requesting for years that the fearsome animatronics arrive in the multiplayer horror video game. Fortunately, they now have an official channel through which they can express their desires to see a collaboration with FNAF.
Behaviour Interactive, the studio behind Dead by Daylight, shared a new survey. The questions cover various topics related to the game's state, community consumption habits, and upcoming content that could arrive in future updates. Developers ask fans to respond honestly.

The interesting part comes in question 60, where players are asked if they would consider buying any of the video games developed by third-party studios listed. There are some very popular names, such as Left 4 Dead and PAYDAY 2. Of course, one of the most prominent is Five Nights at Freddy’s.
Here are the games listed in the survey:
- 7 Days to Die
- Deep Rock Galactic
- Enshrouded
- Escape the Backrooms
- Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach
- Helldivers 2
- Hunt: Showdown
- Left 4 Dead
- Lethal Company
- Pacific Drive
- PAYDAY 2
- Phasmophobia
- The Forest/Sons of the Forest
- Valheim

Conducting surveys is useful for gauging player interest and is a strategy regularly employed by Fortnite. Undoubtedly, this is a great opportunity for FNAF fans to express their desire to see a collaboration with Dead by Daylight.
Although Five Nights at Freddy’s and other games appear in the survey, it doesn't guarantee they'll come to DBD; however, it seems that, at least, Behaviour Interactive will consider the possibility of making crossovers with those franchises if there is high popular demand.
Previously, Dave Richard, senior creative director of the horror video game, kept the door open for a collaboration with Scott Cawthon's saga. "Never say never," he said in a Q&A session.
But tell us, would you like to see a crossover between these franchises? Do you think it will happen? Which characters would you like to see in the game?
