Donald Glover is one of the most versatile artists of today, seemingly excelling in various fields. Now, the musician and actor might add a new Star Wars series to his resume.
According to reports from AbovetheLine and io9, Donald Glover could be taking on the responsibility of writing a new Star Wars series in collaboration with his brother, Stephen Glover.
If you're a Star Wars fan, you know that the artist also known as Childish Gambino is no stranger to its universe. In fact, he portrayed Lando Calrissian in Solo: A Star Wars Movie. And yes, this means that the series he's writing will focus on Lando.
It's worth noting that Disney has been working on a Lando series for some time. Initially, Justin Simien was supposed to write it, but he left the project to focus on directing Haunted Mansion. Seeing this opportunity, the Glover brothers stepped in to take charge of Lando.
