b]ELDEN RING, like other titles from FromSoftware, is full of mystique, and this installment, in particular, features a world that originated from the creativity of George R. R. Martin. Although the game has been on the market for 2 years, and players seem to have explored the Lands Between in its entirety, there is still a secret that they havent discovered.
This isnt coming from someone with little knowledge of the matter; its a statement from Hidetaka Miyazaki, president of FromSoftware and project director. In an interview related to the recent announcement of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, he was asked if players had already deciphered all the secrets the original game held.
What secret of ELDEN RING have players not found yet?
The Japanese creative, together with his team, expressed amazement at the communitys ability to come together to understand the mysteries of their titles. Initially, he indicated that he didnt believe there was any mystery waiting to be uncovered. However, he later mentioned that there might be something players havent found yet.
"For me personally, there is a small element that I feel has not been discovered yet. So, whether its dependent on user interpretation or just more investigation and gameplay, its something Im looking forward to. I think its a matter of when and not if it will happen, but there might still be something small missing," the developer told IGN.

Miyazakis words, of course, sparked speculation, as the community wondered what the developer could be referring to.
While some genuinely believe it could be an in-game item or symbolism, others think it might be another troll from the creative mind. They havent forgotten that he did something similar with Dark Souls, where he talked about a supposed pendant that kept fans searching for months before confessing that it was a joke.
This possibility is not ruled out, considering how intense and observant players can be, having even found a forbidden item that led to bans by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
