It was just announced by Bandai Namco and developers AQURIA that Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris will arrive on the Nintendo Switch System. Unfortunately, the release date wasn’t announced, but hopefully, we’ll get the good news soon. The title is already available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam since 2020. Here is a brief description of the game’s arrival on Switch (via Bandai Namco):

  • Play as your favorite characters from the Alicization arc and explore the vast world of the Underworld for the first time with a handheld console.
  • Includes the Ancient Apostles free content updates.
  • Additional free and paid content will also be available in later updates.
