As scheduled, PlayStation Productions released the first teaser trailer for Twisted Metal this morning. The series will bring back the beloved franchise that has been on ice for quite a few years.

The video gives us a glimpse of all the action and speed that Peacock's production will offer. It also reveals one of the most iconic characters of the saga: Sweet Tooth. On the other hand, PlayStation has already confirmed the release date of this new production.

PlayStation revealed that the Twisted Metal series will debut on July 27th in the United States and will be exclusively streamed on Peacock. Its synopsis confirms that it will be a series full of action and comedy, where we will see exciting battles between modified cars.

Actor Anthony Mackie will play an outsider who will risk his life to get out of the bad situation he is in. On his journey to deliver a mysterious package, he will encounter some allies but also dangerous enemies, such as Sweet Tooth.

The video shows some of the modified vehicles, a bit of action, and the iconic clown-masked character. Some fans were excited about the teaser and stated that they are happy about the franchise's return.

On the contrary, other PlayStation fans stated that the series doesn't look good and believe that PlayStation should revive the franchise with a video game. We won't tell you more, and below is the video:
