Today an article published in Try Hard Guides; written by Tom Henderson make big waves on social media as early footage of the rumoured Hideo Kojima’s next project, Overdose was sent to Henderson under the request of anonymity.

Said footage, was not disclosed but described with detail, according to Henderson it shows Mama from Death Stranding wearing a blue dress. The game, however, does not appear to be Death Stranding 2 and just features the actress who portrayed Mama, Margaret Qualley.

It continues showing the character walking through dark corridors with a flashlight in third-person, but it’s been suggested that the game can be played in first-person too. A jump scare at the end of the footage shows “GAMEOVER” followed by “A Hideo Kojima Game”… “OVERDOSE”.

Of course, it didn’t take long until Kojima Productions reached out to Henderson to request the removal of the article. He denied the request.

Maybe we will have an official announcement soon?

The article also noted the rumours by reputable insider Jeff Grubb that Kojima has been in talks with Xbox for the company to publish their next game. So, maybe we will get a glimpse of this possible game on either Summer Games Fest or the Xbox and Bethesda showcase.
