We have bad news for all those fans who were waiting for this summer with the new title River City Girls 2 since, unfortunately, it has been announced that its release has been delayed.
In case you don't know this title, it was in 2019 when River City Girls managed to be a new franchise that captivated fans in the West. It was for that same success that, in June 2021, WayForward announced the sequel River City Girls 2.
In this new title, he would have the help of new playable characters. The sequel was anticipated to debut sometime in the summer of this year. However, it may not be possible.
WHEN WILL RIVER CITY GIRLS 2 COME?
It was on the official Twitter account of WayForward where this announcement was made known; unfortunately, they did not comment on how long the delay would be, so until now, we do not know any approximate launch date.
So far, the only thing sure is that River City Girls 2 won't debut before at least October or the end of September in the West because WayForward wants to make sure they deliver the "smoothest experience possible."
This draws attention; days ago, it was confirmed that the game would be available in Japan on December 1, but nothing was said about the western version. There was no talk of this date for the West today, so it is not known if WayForward will make it possible for River City Girls to debut this same date worldwide or if in the West, it will do so before or after December.
The good news is that WayForward shared the cover art for the game, which looks great.
