Fortunately, intolerance toward discriminatory comments is very relevant in these times. In this case, that example has been shown with a developer who decided to insult the transgender community and therefore obtained its consequence.

This all started because trans streamer Clara “Keffals” Sorrenti has exposed herself to numerous criticisms and attacks recently for addressing her live reactions and harassment that the LGBTQIA+ community often experiences.

Indeed, the content creator is far from being the sympathy of homophobic and transphobic people. And to the surprise of many, the developer behind the video game Domina, Dolphin Barn Incorporated, is in that group, or at least that's what follows his most recent statements.

DEVELOPER INSULTS TRANS PEOPLE AND BANNED HIM FROM STEAM

As reported from the Kotaku portal, the studio published a new Domina patch note on August 31 on Steam. The interesting thing is that in the short statement, the game wasn’t almost discussed, and it was a lengthy message that directly attacked Clara "Keffals" Sorrenti and the transgender community.

Internet users noticed this situation and shared it on social media. The content creator herself turned to her Twitter account to discuss the matter.

Due to the developer's words, Steam decided to remove Domina and disassociate itself from the studio responsible for the project.

Through a publication on Gab, a social network famous for hosting extreme right-wing users, Nicholas J. Leonhard Gorissen of Dolphin Barn Incorporated established that Steam removed the video game from its platform. After insulting the trans community again, he criticized the head of Valve.

“Steam canceled us rather than admit there might be a problem with memberless men walking around calling themselves women (...) Gabe Newell doesn't seem to mind that I brought a million dollars in revenue to the table, while his moderation team and vice presidents already cost him millions in payroll. Long-term losses will continue as long as it removes long-lasting revenue streams like Domina from its platform,” Nicholas commented.

But tell us, what do you think of this situation? Let us read you in the comments.
