Just yesterday, we were talking about how after the disappointing launch of Cyberpunk 2077 because of all the bugs the game had. Thanks to the Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime based on the game, all attention has returned to the video game to give it a second chance.

All of this has been great news for CD Projekt RED, especially for all the development team members who have been working on the title for years. One of their team members recently thanked the fan community and had a moving moment full of tears while talking with his fans on a live stream.

Now the news is that the rise of Cyberpunk 2077's success is incredible as CD Projekt RED can already boast that the RPG has sold 20 million copies.

HOW MANY COPIES HAS CYBERPUNK 2077 SOLD IN THE LAST MONTHS?

We remind you that Cyberpunk 2077 was a success at its launch and sold 13.7 million copies in its first weeks on the market. It was in April 2022 that it was announced that the RPG had shipped 18 million copies.

This means that, in the last five months, Cyberpunk 2077 has sold more than 2 million copies. It is unknown how many of these copies were sold after the release of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, so the commercial impact of the anime is still unclear.
