Glen Schofield confirms The Callisto Protocol game length
By Frida Salazar onBeta paths will add replayability and even more hours

We are just a couple of months away from the official release of the space-horror game The Callisto Protocol and the hype is real. Actually, more details are coming out in order to elevate the excitement even more as recently the length of the main campaign was revealed.
During an interview in the latest issue (#377) of EDGE, director Glen Schofield shared that the title will take between 12 and 14 hours to finish, which is a very good number of hours of content. However, this figure could grow significantly if you try to complete the whole game and uncover all its secrets.
Length is sometimes the main reason for purchase
Some players are fervent believers that the video games length defines if they buy a title or not. So a single-player campaign with almost 14 hours of content with the option to expand, seems like a good time for a linear survival horror.
As we said before the game will have Beta paths that besides adding more hours of content will also offer replayability, or according to Schofield, hoping to open the discussion between players about the path they took in their adventure.
About the time beta paths add he said:
“They came later in the game, but some of them are so freaking cool, and we don’t tell you where they are or how many they are. But if you really explore, it may be longer.”
We remind you that additionally, The Callisto Protocol will have 1-year post-release support. There will be 1 Season Pass that will offer 1 story DLC of which details haven’t been released yet, but we don't doubt it will amaze us as the main campaign.
Remember The Callisto Protocol arrives on December 2 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
