With the space required by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II already quite massive (125 GB), it is time for the community to prepare for a decidedly voluminous patch.

Although not officially announced by Infinity Ward, a new patch for the shooter made its appearance overnight. As mentioned, the weight of the update is by no means small, with players required to make available as much as 40 GB of storage space.

What will this update bring to the game?

These are in addition to the 125 GB already required by the base version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Now, update 1.03 is only available to players taking advantage of early access to COD: Modern Warfare II, which is scheduled for global release in a few days.

The Infinity Ward team has not offered specific details on the nature of the update, which could therefore represent the shooter's Day One Patch, already confirmed by the software house. For more information, therefore, all that remains to be done is to wait for communications from Activision.

In Case you missed it: Yes, it's true! James Gunn to lead DC Studios.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II launches on October 28 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Fans can start playing the campaign right now if they preorder the game. Gamers can also earn rewards, such as XP boosters, operators, cosmetics, and other in-game items after the campaign.
