In anticipation of the Opening Ceremony of Worlds 2022, an international League of Legends competition whose final will take place on November 5, important news arrives for another Riot Games home project. Teamfight Tactics: Monster's attack! is the new update coming in December for all players.

Teamfight Tactics has become famous for delivering unique and rewarding game experiences with each major update. The next update for the game is Monster's attack!, featuring giant units of heroes (and anti-heroes) involved in a desperate battle to protect the world from mysterious kaiju invaders. Recruit a team of heroes, upgrade them and strategically position them, and the world may have a chance.

What's new in this update?

This update is a bold new vision for Teamfight Tactics and reimagines every aspect, from the graphical style to the game mechanics. The new Threat trait deviates from the familiar concept of TFT traits. Threats do not receive field bonuses from other Threats and have no other traits. They are more powerful than other units, which makes up for their simplicity. Players can still place as many as they want, which makes them more versatile.

TFT implants are now a permanent component of the process, albeit their nature varies from set to set. With the new heroic Implants in Monster's attack!, players can construct their unique superhero in each session. These do not disseminate their abilities to the entire team, as Implants did previously. Instead, players select a single heroic improvement from a menu of possibilities, overloading that champion. Invaders are infiltrating PvE rounds in entirely new conflicts, leaving elements for you to choose an item or component.

In case you missed it: Wow, the new PlayStation VR2 costs more than a PS5?!

The Dragonlands update was the most recent chapter Riot Games released in Teamfight Tactics. It added a slew of new dragon and dragonmancer units, new augments, and an enhanced version of the Dragon Treasure system.
