According to the latest information released by Kratfon on its strategies for the future, it would appear that the South Korean giant is also planning to add Neon Giant to its already extensive roster of in-house development teams.

Another studio joins Krafton

In the pages of GamesIndustry, a post has appeared entirely dedicated to the publisher of The Callisto Protocol and PlayerUnknown's Battleground, in which the willingness to acquire the authors of The Ascent, the isometric shooter that first arrived on Microsoft platforms and then also on Sony ones, is blatantly mentioned.

Although the portal dedicated to the video game market speaks only of a desire to acquire the team and of an offer that has yet to arrive, the PDF file with the publisher's latest financial results lists Neon Giant among the European teams without reference to its acquisition. In short, it is likely that the software house is already part of Krafton and that the purchase is on its way.

In case you missed it: Rumor: Sony partners with NCSoft to develop an MMO in the Horizon series.

Another fascinating element that emerged from the results concerns opening a new team on Canadian soil, which will be in charge of work on The Bird That Drinks Tears, a project in Unreal Engine 5 based on the story of the same name.

What kind of game do you think this collaboration will bring to us? Let us know in the comments!
