With the overwhelming success of VALORANT and its VCT tournament circuit, it’s not a surprise that Riot plans to expand the game to other platforms. Actually, this summer the Valorant Leaks account on Twitter reported that the latest 5.03 update added icons for PlayStation and Xbox controls to game files.
Did you know?: Riot Games will record and listen to what you say while playing VALORANT
Now a new job posting seems to confirm Riot’s plans, as the company published on the gaming job platform hitmarker.net that they are looking for a senior designer and another design manager both intended to develop certain features for VALORANT on Consoles.
Both job openings ask for a professional with 5+ years of experience in their field, on the other hand, seems like they are searching for an experienced candidate who can bring VALORANT to new platforms without sacrificing the game design principles that define VALORANT on PC.
In case you are THAT candidate we will leave both senior designer and design manager job listings here.
We need them in console now!
In case you haven’t played VALORANT yet we need to admit that the tactical hero shooter has a very complex learning curve, however, once you get a grip of it the gameplay feels very rewarding, actually if you are a tactical shooter fan you will notice some similarities with games like Counter-Strike while they still differ in many aspects.
We can guarantee you that once you play for a while you will get hooked however, playing and learning with friends helps too!
