Krü esports is expanding to USA

Growing and growing

Incredible news for every Krü fan around the world, the Argentina-based team will enter the North American market after two years of sports and institutional development in Latin America.

Yes, is real and is a very ambitious next step for them. As expected the headquarters will continue to operate in Buenos Aires, Argentina, however the opening of the club's offices in Los Angeles is imminent.

A lot of great things are coming

To begin with, the team's American operations will be managed by ZONED, a U.S.-based agency based at the intersection of gaming and pop culture. It is a subsidiary of Gamesquare Esports, a modern media company shaping the future of gaming, e-sports and web3.

On the other hand, they are planning to focus on the sports development of the Valorant NA team and the commercial growth of the club, with a similar approach to the Argentinian one.

Actually in their official statement, ex-football superstar, CEO and founder of Krü, Sergio Agüero made very clear their excitement for what is about to come for the club:

"I am very happy to be able to expand our operations to Los Angeles, we have a large Latin audience in North America and we believe that we can capture the American public. We are putting together a very solid team that will work hand in hand with the people who helped me fund and make KRÜ a reality. Besides, I am in the United States for most of the year, so I will be able to follow them closely.”

Also, Carlos Tovar, Chief Operating Officer of KRÜ Esports NA & Director Of Strategy of Zoned also pronounced himself about the path this team has walked and his excitement for the future:

"I remember when Sergio told me about his vision for KRÜ and what it could become before its launch, so to see what it has become is incredible. As we enter North America, I'm excited for everyone to see what we have planned."

We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us, sadly we will have to wait until the Valorant Champions Tour NA kicks off next year.
