This year 2022 was a great year for anime, as thousands of incredible and quality stories were released.

From cosplay, chainsaw and spy stories, there was a little bit of everything. And now, just weeks before closing 2022, different lists with the most sought-after anime of the year are already beginning to be published.

The Yahoo! Japan Search Awards is in charge of revealing to the community the search terms in Yahoo! most popular of 2022, giving us a look at what had the most relevance during the past months.

Thanks to this, we already have the top ten with the most searched anime series in Japan this year, so we invite you to see the complete list below.

As you could see, the list is headed by Spy x Family, a series that surprised the entire community by introducing us to a curious family made up of Loid, Yor and of course Anya, who are very different from what they appear to be and keep some secrets.

Finally, Chainsaw Man could not be missing, another of the animes that have given a lot to talk about throughout 2022 and that tells us the story of Denji and his faithful demonic dog Pochita in a story that continues to surprise everyone.
