The GWB Game Awards is an indie game awards event organized and hosted by Tencent GWB at the Tencent Institute of Games. On December 7 the 9 award winners were announced via Twitter, and today, December 15, The GWB Game Awards 2022 Steam event went live!

This event will be going on until December 21 at 11:59 PM China Standard Time. It includes time-limited demos, discounts, and key giveaways in the official Tencent GWB Twitter account.

A total of 42 indie games were selected as finalists for the gold grand prize which awards a monetary incentive of $4,500 (USD) of which the winner was The Wandering Village. And during this Steam event, all the winning and nominated titles participate in this special section. Additionally, winners from previous editions are included in this event.

Several games have discounts lowering their prices to a very affordable cost. And some have the option to be played as a demo before making the decision to buy it or add it to the wish list. Below you can see the Twitter post announcing the winners, but you can also go to the Steam event site to look at each title along with the corresponding trailer, screenshots, and detailed information about them.

This event is a great opportunity for you to get to know the best indie games that were released from the end of 2021 until now. Many games stand out for their art, others for their music, while others have a great story or even a combination of all of the above. We suggest you take a look at all the games available and you will surely find more than one that you will love.
