Crash Bandicoot: On The Run had totalled more than 11 million downloads on mobile devices within days of the title's debut. However, less than two years after the game's launch, it is time to say goodbye, as announced by the game's official Facebook page.
When will the game go down?
Activision has confirmed plans to disable the game's servers. Specifically, Crash Bandicoot: On The Run will cease operation starting February 16, 2023, on all iOS and Android publishing platforms. Until this date, players in possession of Purple Crystals will be able to take advantage of the tools within the game.
Because of the deactivation of Crash Bandicoot: On The Run, the Activision team will suspend all types of microtransactions as early as today, Monday, December 19, 2022. As of this moment, it is, therefore, no longer possible to make purchases within the in-game store.

With these communications, the development team of the mobile title dedicated to the orange marsupial bade farewell to the public, inviting them to stay tuned for future updates on the character's fate.
