During The Game Awards 2022, Hidetaka Miyazaki previewed some surprises related to ELDEN RING. Fans of GOTY 2022 are very excited, as a recent hint suggests that FromSoftware is already preparing to reveal the news for its hit title.

It just so happens that the studio recently updated the game's testing section on Steam. For many gamers, this is a hint that more content is on the way for ELDEN RING. While there are several theories about this, it's important to note that FromSoftware has not confirmed anything at the time of writing.

PLAYERS BELIEVE NEW FEATURES FOR ELDEN RING ARE COMING SOON

The community discovered that some modifications to the testing section were made in October last year, just before the arrival of the Colosseum update. Now, the community believes that more content is on the way, as FromSoftware made other adjustments on Steam recently.

To be more precise, there were changes to the play-test-3, dev-debug, dev-release, and qa-debug sections evidenced via SteamDB. It is striking that they were all updated on the same day and at the same time. Fans believe that the content will be greater than the last update due to this. A few days have passed, and we can see that development, play-test-3, and tech-review-1 show a more updated time meaning the devs are currently cooking something for everyone.

Rumors of a possible expansion surfaced in past months, but nothing has been confirmed. The fact that Miyazaki will hint at more content for the game has fans very excited, but it's best to wait for FromSoftware to confirm or deny this information.

Finally, there is also speculation about the arrival of ray tracing for the title, a feature FromSoftware promised some time ago.
