Since its unveiling, TEKKEN 8 caught the attention of everyone for its impressive next-gen visuals and fast-paced gameplay. While we wait for more details, Bandai Namco announced through an official preview that a classic character will return.
The Japanese company confirmed that Jun Kazama, mother of Jin Kazama, will be part of the initial roster of the new installment of the popular fighting franchise. In addition, the announcement was accompanied by a trailer where we can see the moves and skills she will use in the fights to attack her rivals.
This news will undoubtedly thrill the most nostalgic fans of the IP. Although his last canonical appearance was in the second numerical installment, Jun Kazama was part of the TEKKEN Tag Tournament and TEKKEN Tag Tournament 2 lineup, so she will be returning after a long absence of more than 10 years.

Jun Kazama joins the TEKKEN 8 selectable roster alongside Lars Alexandersson, Kazuya Mishima, King, Jack-8, Nina Williams, Jin Kazama, Paul Phoenix, and Marshall Law. TEKKEN 8 is in development and will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC.
