Rockstar announced by surprise this morning a port of Red Dead Redemption for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. While the news excited a portion of the community, the reality is that there are also quite a few disappointed fans.

PlayStation fans also protested the absence of a native version that takes advantage of PlayStation 5 technology, as the re-release will run through PS4 backwards compatibility.
