The other day we got the marvellous announcement of a new LEGO set of 2,807 pieces with the one and only Bowser from Super Mario. This kit is presumably the biggest Mario set to be released so far, standing at over 32cm tall and 41cm wide and in celebration of its upcoming launch we are getting an even BIGGER version of it.
LEGO and Nintendo are teaming up to bring a 14-foot-tall Bowser statue at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, made of almost 700,000 bricks.
If you are a lucky attendant of San Diego’s Comic-Con this July 21 to 24, you will be able to admire this massive LEGO Bowser which also has mechanised parts which allow his arms, hands, head, eyes, eyebrows, and jaw to move, and will be able to hear it roar.
We are sure that you don’t want to miss this one, even friends in the Netherlands will have a chance to see this king-sized sculpture so you can check all dates here.
