Age of Empires IV is gearing up for a Halloween event with free rewards

October is approaching, and many games are planning to celebrate it with exciting Halloween events. It's common to see this in service games, especially multiplayer shooters, but World's Edge doesn't want to be left behind. That's why Age of Empires IV is preparing its Halloween event with free prizes.

In an official blog post by Age of Empires, World's Edge announced that they are preparing a series of updates for Age of Empires IV. One of them is Hallow's Hearth, a new seasonal event to celebrate Halloween.

What is Hallow's Hearth in Age of Empires IV? When will it be?

According to the developer, Hallow's Hearth will be an event taking place from October 3rd to November 7th in Age of Empires IV. During this event, players will find thematic updates to immerse themselves in the spookiest season of the year.

During Hallow's Hearth, you'll be able to play matches in an exclusive biome featuring sinister-looking trees to make you feel like you're in constant danger. This setting will only be available during the seasonal event.

Additionally, there will be a series of 10 challenges that, when completed, will reward you with free cosmetic prizes. These include banners, monuments, and player profiles.
