Batman is one of Warner Bros. Discovery's most valuable properties. That's why many were surprised to learn that an HBO Max Batman film was cancelled and Amazon Video ended up saving it. Well, that won't be the only original Batman project we'll see on Prime Video.
According to The Wrap, Batman: Caped Crusader will be the first of several Batman projects for Prime Video. It turns out that the streaming service will also welcome Merry Little Batman and Bat-Family, a movie and a series, respectively.
While Caped Crusader will be an animated project similar to Batman: The Animated Series, Merry Little Batman will be a comedic and family-oriented series overseen by Mike S. Roth, producer of Regular Show. In it, we'll see Damian Wayne alone on Christmas Eve trying to save his home and Gotham City before the holidays are ruined.
Meanwhile, Bat-Family will be an animated series in which Damian teams up with his father Bruce Wayne and Alfred, his loyal butler, to save Gotham. This production will be produced by Sam Register of Warner Bros. Animation.
