Another key member of HALO is leaving 343 Industries soon
By Frida Salazar onRight after Bonnie Ross…

Things are not looking good for 343 Industries, as the studio is undoubtedly going through one of its worst moments. In recent months we have reported the departure of several key workers on the HALO franchise; the most recent was its boss, Bonnie Ross.
Well, things are apparently going from bad to worse, according to a report from Lords Of Gaming, which later was verified by WindowsCentral’s sources, David Berger who has led technical development since Halo 4 will soon be leaving the company.
Even though his departure has not been announced officially, it's rumoured that Microsoft anticipated his leave and a major restructuring was planned.
A lot of years invested in 343i
In case you don’t know, David Berger is a veteran director who has worked since 2008 on 343i. He was the head of the engineering division of the studio that made possible the creation of the Slipspace Engine, the engine used for Halo Infinite. In previous years he had worked as a senior member on projects such as Halo 4 and Halo 5.
Previously, Berger also worked as a developer at FASA Interactive, known for being in charge of franchises such as MechWarrior and Shadowrun.
Ok, but why are they leaving?
While is completely normal for them to change studios, is alarming that this is not the first case at 343 Industries in recent times, but adds to a large exodus of creatives in recent months. Some people in the community also blame this employee attrition on Halo Infinite’s bad reception, especially after 343 Industries recently cancelled a mode that fans had hoped would revive the game in some way.
