The years of the pandemic and the period of returning to normalcy resulted in a series of delays in the gaming world at a time when there was uncertainty, and release dates could change at the least expected moment. Although that phase has passed, there are still some projects that choose to deliver the sad news, and this is the case with Batman: Arkham Trilogy for Nintendo Switch.

Batman: Arkham Trilogy will no longer debut on Switch on October 13

Moments ago, the official Batman Arkham Twitter account announced that the Batman: Arkham Trilogy collection, which was set to debut on Nintendo Switch on October 13, has been delayed. This is because the desired level of quality has not been achieved to provide the best possible experience for players of the hybrid console interested in these adventures of the Dark Knight, which are among the best in the superhero gaming genre.

What is the new release date for Batman: Arkham Trilogy on Nintendo Switch?

That being said, the new release date for Batman: Arkham Trilogy on Nintendo Switch is December 1, so, in the end, there is some good news as the collection remains on track for this year and will be available just before Christmas, making it a potential holiday season gift.

In light of the announcement, some fans expressed in the post their hope that this delay might be a last-minute change in favor of including all 3 games on the Switch cartridge, as the collection has faced criticism for only having the first game, Batman: Arkham Asylum, with Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knight requiring separate downloads.
