We have been hearing the Bloodborne remaster rumors for a while, however, in the last few days, a notable PlayStation insider destroyed all hope for Bloodborne fans.

Seems like both PlayStation and FromSoftware don’t have plans for the title at least not for this year or the next one.

Also in a recent social media exchange, one user asked Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier to "leak" the existence of a Bloodborne remaster. Sadly Schreier didn’t pronounce the words he was expecting.

The well-connected reporter shattered their hopes by saying that (he) “Can’t leak what doesn't exist,". This is terribly sad as many fans thought that the reports that we've heard about within the past year are in fact a lie or maybe were real but now have been put away.

And in addition to this, a full-blown sequel to Bloodborne is also said to be in the works at Bluepoint Games, which is the studio that remade Demon's Souls for PS5. Whether or not any of this will end up being true in the long run remains to be seen, but based on what Schreier has now said, it sounds like fans shouldn't get their hopes up.
