Bride throws a fun Waluigi-themed bachelorette party!
By Alejandro Díaz de León onThe TikTok video showing the assistants' costumes has gone viral

On August 5, a TikTok video of a bachelorette party where the seven assistants, including the bride, were dressed in creative versions of Waluigi, became a hot topic.
In the video, the bride and her friends, each with a different Waluigi concept, such as pirates, cowboys, and firefighters, predict who will end the night in the drunkest state.
It has quickly spread across the Internet since it was posted, with approximately 200,000 likes on the original TikTok and 8,000 likes on Twitter.
The bride-to-be, Emily “Cherie Sorbet” Yates, aka Elvis Waluigi, is an illustrator and 2D animator. “I knew when I was thinking about my future bachelorette party that I wanted to do a chaotic costume night, I’ve seen some really good ones online themed around Guy Fieri and Shrek, but I wanted something I hadn’t seen yet!” she told Kotaku in a recent interview.
Waluigi's cosplay was inspired by the fact that he is "just a lanky being of pure chaotic energy" with an "iconic" appearance. In January of this year, he gave a PowerPoint presentation to friends and family to explain this concept.
Cherie's Elvis Waluigi costume required a significant amount of time and effort, and she intends to share a video of the process. She also plans to organize a Waluigi-themed bar crawl at some point.
Yates has stated that, while she enjoys "chaos" and ''weird stuff'', her wedding ceremony in November will be more "traditional."
