First revealed in June 2023, Clockwork Revolution intrigued fans with its striking steampunk aesthetic and mysterious time-travel mechanics. However, much was still unknown about its core gameplay—until now.

At this year’s showcase, inXile Entertainment finally shared a brand-new trailer that dives deeper into the world of Ávalon, showing off more of the game’s narrative elements and gameplay systems.

What Is Clockwork Revolution?

Clockwork Revolution is a first-person shooter RPG where players manipulate time itself to influence different eras in the sprawling steampunk city of Avalon. Your choices matter—actions taken in the past can drastically alter the future.

The new trailer showcases more of the game’s customization options, combat, and story, providing a richer glimpse into what’s to come. While the update is promising, the team has not shared a release date.

What is confirmed is that Clockwork Revolution will be a day-one release on Xbox Game Pass, and it’s coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC when the time is right.
