The Super Smash Bros. amiibo collection, which gave rise to these products, may soon be completed, but that doesn't mean Nintendo will stop producing these figures. Instead, it seems they are already working on more.

Following the confirmation of Sora's amiibo release date and the recent launch of the Deep Cut amiibo from Splatoon 3, Nintendo has not announced anything about amiibo. As of now, there is no information about figures scheduled to debut beyond February 2024.

Will there be more Splatoon 3 amiibo?

However, more figures should soon be added to the release schedule, as fans believe they have found evidence that more amiibo are on the way.

We know this thanks to the user and dataminer ashbinary_, who, after the release of the latest Splatoon 3 update, delved into the game files and uncovered a wealth of hidden information about the title, including new weapons and equipment, as well as levels not yet available or even announced.

One notable discovery was that among these findings were 2 pieces of unannounced equipment related to amiibo. This suggests that at least 2 of these figures are in development and have not been announced. A similar situation occurred with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, where it was eventually confirmed that Nintendo was preparing amiibos for Zelda and Ganondorf.

The Splatoon 3 amiibo typically unlock in-game equipment, so it is believed that these amiibo could be related to the Side Order DLC, the latest expansion for the title.

If fan suspicions prove correct, the Splatoon 3 amiibo should be released around spring 2024, coinciding with the debut of Side Order. More details about them should be revealed in the weeks or months leading up to the release.
