As promised, Devolver Digital had its own event prepared for the summer of gaming to reveal projects that are in development. Today they finally confirmed the date of the event and what we can expect from it.

The indie publishing company announced today that its traditional annual presentation is scheduled for the same day as Summer Game Fest 2023 and will take advantage of the space to make "revelations of new games, announcements, and surprises."

If you follow the history of Devolver Directs, you probably know what happened in the last edition and may be wondering how it will coincide with the Devolver Direct 2023 canon.

Well, Devolver Digital apparently already has the answer, and it will be through Volvy, a character who claims to have been a fundamental part of gaming history and who has starred in video games, movies, and shows, such as Volvy Vasectomy, Field Run, and Volvy Vission 3000.

WHEN WILL DEVOLVER DIRECT 2023 BE?

If this character's name doesn't sound familiar to you, don't worry, as it is a character outside of our timeline, so the story that Devolver Digital will show of this character possibly from a uchronia will be interesting.

Devolver Direct 2023 will take place on Thursday, June 4 at 4:00 PM (CT), apparently just after the main event of Summer Game Fest 2023 (1:00 PM) ends.
