AMD has always been characterized by the launch of great technologies for everyone, its development and innovation in CPUs and the great competition in graphics cards.

On November 3 during the presentation "AMD Presents: together we advance_gaming" the new AMD GPUs that incorporate RDNA 3 architecture was launched.

New graphics chips use a “chiplet” design which uses different manufacturing use an infrastructure. The world’s first gaming GPU with a chiplet design delivers up to 15% higher frequencies at up to 54% better power efficiency. It includes the new 5nm and 6nm.

Both the RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT support DisplayPort 2.1, allowing for 1440p at up to 900Hz, 4K at up to 480Hz, and 8K at up to 165Hz. Also, AMD says the RX 7900 XTX is up to 1.7 times faster than the RX 6950 XT at 4K. RDNA 3 increade 54% performance vs prev. gen.

Including new technologies as FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (coming in 2023), and a new software AMD RDNA 3 Media Engine for video recording and streaming, which has a partnership with OBS and Adobe Premiere Pro.

Lets talk about FPS performance

AMD didn’t forget to mention FidelityFX Super Resolution 3, the technology that enhances gaming, rescaling the resolution via IA, which is already in 216 games. According to AMD, FSR 3 will boost gaming FPS by 2X more than FSR 2.

With the new version of FSR, AMD promises to go up to 833 FPS in Valorant, 600 FPS in Overwatch 2, and 300 FPS in Apex Legends with a resolution of 1440p (esport settings). They also shared FPS images of some popular games likeCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 andCyberpunk 2077 with ultra settings (4K/8K). However, we will have to wait for the tests of these new GPUs.

Definitely, the best thing about this great release has been the good price at which we can buy these new graphics cards. These cards are the beginning of the new standard of 4K/8K gaming.
