Good news, Joker 2 is happening. How do we know? Todd Phillips posted a set of images on his personal Instagram page of the red script cover along with a picture of actor Joaquin Phoenix reading the script.

Apparently, Phillips, who directed and co-wrote the first Joker movie is teaming up again with co-writer Scott Silver on the sequel. Joker: Folie á Deux is described as a psychological disorder where the same or similar mental disorder affects two or more people. Maybe we will get to see Batman or Harley Quinn?

According to IGN, there weren’t plans for a sequel, however after the first Joker film grossed more than $1.07 billion and 11 Oscar nominations- seems like these two are good reasons for Warner Bros. to produce a sequel.

We are beyond excited, however, for more details, we will have to wait a good number of days or even months until the beginning of the production is announced.
