2024 is a very important year for Scott Cawthon and all fans of Five Nights at Freddy's, as the popular horror franchise will celebrate its 10th anniversary. Its creator is already preparing several surprises for the occasion, so he invited players to a week full of announcements.
The first game in the series debuted on August 8, 2014, and instantly became a viral hit. Thus, the celebrations for the 10th anniversary of the franchise will start that month, and there will be several surprises.

Some collectible companies have gotten ahead of the Five Nights at Freddy's anniversary and have already revealed their special products for the occasion. Additionally, and as fans expected, Scott Cawthon will also make some announcements during the 10th-anniversary celebration of the saga.
Through the franchise's social media, the developer confirmed that there will be a daily reveal from August 1 to August 8, the day the first game’s anniversary is celebrated. For now, it’s unknown what kind of revelations there will be, but fans are very excited.
"Hello FNAF community! This year is the 10th anniversary of FNAF on August 8! There has been a lot of work behind the scenes to make this a very special event. Something big will be released each day from August 1 to August 8," said the creator.
Cawthon accompanied his post with a special illustration, showing Freddy Fazbear, the most iconic animatronic, holding a cake decorated with the 10th-anniversary logo of Five Nights at Freddy's. More details about the celebration will be revealed in a few hours.
