God of War Ragnarok has been a topic of conversation this year since its long-awaited release; the fans were already very hyped, and all that waiting has been worth it since the title has been a success.
God of War Ragnarok has already sold more than 5 million copies in a week, even surpassing the biggest releases this year in regions like the UK.

PlayStation revealed this with a brief message published on their social networks. Thanks to this, we know that the game sold more than 5 million copies within days of its release and became the fastest-selling first-party launch in PlayStation history.
GOD OF WAR: RAGNARÖK A WORLDWIDE SUCCESS
Through an infographic, PlayStation revealed that God of War: Ragnarök sold 5.1 million copies during its first week worldwide. This makes it the fastest-selling PlayStation exclusive yet.
This includes sales registered on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 until November 13. In addition, the company assured that these achievements represent a record for the popular franchise that began its journey on PlayStation 2.

"Congratulations to Santa Monica for making God of War: Ragnarök the fastest-selling first-party launch in PlayStation history!" the company celebrated.
The players joined in the festivities and praised the work of Santa Monica. Many also assured that the title is a masterpiece and deserves to win the Game of the Year award.
God of War: Ragnarök is now available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
