Some developers and industry members have commented on it, and many of them have sent messages of support to Rockstar, knowing that the leaks cause frustration and disappointment, not only to those responsible for the game but also to the fans.

One of the people to comment on it was Neil Druckmann, director of The Last of Us and president of Naughty Dog; he was one of the first creatives to express his support to the entire Rockstar team for the complicated situation. This morning, Rockstar shared a statement confirming that they suffered a hack and that the studio is disappointed in the situation.
