Hangar 13 confirms a new Mafia entry in the works!

Aware of the enormous interest sparked by the numerous Mafia 4 leaks and rumors that have circulated the Internet in recent months, the Hangar 13 team is finally confirming the development of the next chapter of this now-storied IP has begun.
Hangar 13 General Manager Roman Hladik discussedthe future of the series and provided the first essential updates on the development of the next Mafia chapter in the lengthy message shared by the California-based software house to commemorate Mafia's 20th anniversary and retrace its most directing events.
Hladík prefers to get straight to the point and address fans directly to say he is "happy to confirm that we have started working on a brand new project regarding Mafia!''
''We are really excited about the idea of continuing to work on this much-loved franchise to give players new stories, although we will need a few years to develop it and that's all we can say for now."

The Hangar 13 team prefers not to elaborate on the title's narrative plot, protagonists, or the gaming experience offered by a project that will most likely hit stores in a few years on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
However, according to rumors gathered in recent months, Mafia 4 could be a prequel developed on Unreal Engine 5, while the story for other "deep throats" should be set in Sicily.
