Honkai Star Rail receives the most anticipated feature by complete surprise
By Pedro Pérez Cesari onThe gacha title finally has the beloved function of Genshin Impact fans

Honkai Star Rail is a huge success, and millions of players love it, but it had one major problem: it lacked a beloved feature of Genshin Impact players. Yes, we're referring to the chat, which debuted by surprise in the HoYoVerse title.
In a special broadcast focused on version 1.1 of Honkai Star Rail, HoYoVerse talked about some new features that are coming to the gacha. These are adjustments aimed at improving the quality of life so that the RPG is a more comfortable experience for its community. Unfortunately, no further details were shared, nor was a release date given.
One of the features shown in that broadcast was the chat feature. Many were surprised when, without any prior announcement, the feature was enabled for all Honkai Star Rail players today. Just one week after the release of version 1.1.

The person who revealed that the feature appeared was a Reddit user who showed it off with a screenshot in the official Honkai Star Rail subreddit. Upon seeing their post, many users rushed to the gacha to check if they had it too, and upon discovering they did, celebrated in the comments.
However, it's worth noting that fans aren't entirely happy for one reason: the Honkai Star Rail chat doesn't include emojis. If you've played Genshin Impact, you know that there are several gestures to choose from to give messages a special touch.
How to use the chat in Honkai Star Rail?
To take advantage of the Honkai Star Rail chat, all you have to do is press the icon on the bottom left corner. This will allow you to start a conversation with any user on your friends' list.
