In addition to news about various video games, Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2024 offered this weekend a new look at Dragon Ball Daima, the next anime in the franchise. As you probably already know, not everyone is happy with the project as it's simply not what they were hoping for the future of the saga.

This became more than clear again with the release of the new trailer, as fan opinion was once again divided and that was reflected on social networks, where there are both enthusiastic comments and scathing criticisms of the new anime.

Trailer for Dragon Ball Daima raises doubts among fans

The trailer gives us a glimpse of what awaits Goku and company in this new adventure. More than one fan will feel nostalgic, as the video shows the mighty warrior as a child as he battles a horde of enemies and tries to eat.

It also reveals that Goku will once again use his iconic Power Pole to fight. In the end, it is reaffirmed that the series will be available sometime in the fall of this year. Some fans were delighted with the trailer, believing the aesthetics of the new series to be very good.

They also celebrated the classic touches reminiscent of the original Akira Toriyama series. However, the networks were also filled with criticism, as many wish that Dragon Ball Super would continue instead of a new series starting.

Some fans even stated that they will not watch Dragon Ball Daima, as they are tired of the main franchise not keeping up with the pace. In defense of the project, some people explained that this is an anime for the 40th anniversary of the saga, so it makes sense for the series to go back to its roots in a way.

"I won't watch it", "Dragon Ball Super must return", "I'm tired of spin-off series", "We want Moro and not this", are some of the comments that can be read on social networks. Below you can watch the new trailer of Dragon Ball Daima and draw your own conclusions.
